Summary

The Yorkshire branch of the Energy Institute (EI) is delighted to be sponsoring this year's MSc Energy and Environmental Engineering (EEE) Poster Competition.

The EEE poster competition challenges MSc students from the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering of the University of Sheffield to carry out the best research in energy and environmental engineering. The posters are judged by members of the EI Yorkshire branch and academic staff.

The key aims of the competition are to address the skills in energy and environmental engineering and inspire the next generation of world-class engineers.

This year over 80 MSc students have been carrying out pioneering research in areas including energy management, CO2 sequestration, CCS, emissions reduction, energy storage, bioenergy engineering, fuel cells, conventional heat and power, renewables, waste water treatment, recycling and safety amongst other topics.

You are invited to attend this event to learn more about the latest research, understand how it can benefit industry, and meet with post-graduate students, academic staff and other EI members. A buffet lunch will be served and all are welcome.
