This publication provides industry with a specification for the qualification by similarity of filter/water separators used in systems that handle jet fuel. It applies to two-stage (filter/coalesce and separator) and the filter/water separator stages of multi-stage filter/water separator systems.
It will assist manufacturers and purchasers of filter/water separators and can be used in conjunction with EI 1581.
