These abstracts are being prepared on a continuing basis as an update to the applied material presented in Transport Fuels Technology (TFT). The fuels and related news items are presented within 24 sections under the broad headings of Surface Transport and Aerospace, together with headings covering developments in Handling and Propulsion that have an impact on fuel characteristics.
Each abstract is identified by a unique abstract number . See-Also references are given to related abstracts. Abstracts are displayed within their sections in reverse date order (ie the most recently published first).

In general, quantities are presented in the units adopted by the authors, but conversions to SI are given in parentheses immediately following. A table of conversions is accessible from the contents page.
