Research service

Each year the EI Knowledge Service handles over 13,000 queries which range from very specific questions, which may be answered immediately, to those which require extensive research on a particular subject. Amongst our services we can offer:

• Online search service. We have access to hundreds of commercially available on-line databases including those produced by the University of Tulsa (on the upstream oil industry) and Dialog

• Quick queries answered free (up to 5 minutes). For example address and telephone numbers; petrol pump prices; simple statistics; etc

• Extended desk research for example for detailed information on companies; statistics; oil industry operations; etc.

• The EI Data Service is free for EI members and available for subscription by non-members. The service gives you access to addresses, statistics, reports, presentations and press releases about the energy sector.
