Training
The EI Oil and Gas Training scheme offers a comprehensive programme of courses for the oil and gas industry, both as classroom training ranging in duration from 1- to 5- days or as distance learning online. We offer over 40 course titles in introductory, intermediate and advanced levels, making EI training an essential provider in the sector.

The EI offers a range of short- and long-term energy management training solutions, either as bespoke in-house training, CPD courses or distance learning options. The EI’s experience and professional tuition keep us at the forefront of energy efficiency training.

Oil and gas training courses - technical guidance
Our developing portfolio of technical training is designed to support those using EI industry publications covering health and safety issues. Topics include EI 1550 Aviation fuel handling standard, corrosion management, carbon capture and storage and workforce involvement programmes.
Human factors is attracting heavy interest as it offers the possibility for delivering the next step change in improved safety performance. The Energy Institute's Human Factors programme will utilise the EI's experience and expertise within the subject to deliver practical and informative training.
