Complete an introductory qualification designed to give participants an overview in the fundamentals of energy management. The course includes participation in five days of energy management workshops, taking place over the space of one week. This will allow students to gain a professional qualification, proving their ability to complete essential energy management tasks.
The course incorporates energy management essentials, regulations and standards, monitoring and targeting, as well as practical energy auditing. As part of this, course delegates conduct a supervised visit to a plant room and go through report writing.
Delegates will be assessed by taking an exam at the end of the week, and then completing a personal site report, to be marked following the course. On completion they will receive the Energy Institute Certificate in Energy Management Essentials.
This course meets the energy management training prior-knowledge requirement for becoming a certified Energy Management Systems Auditor (ISO 50001) with the International register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA).
This course can be used as CPD: 30 hours
