Summary

The Energy Institute is delighted to announce that Professor Sir David King HonFEI, Foreign Secretary's Special Representative for Climate Change, Foreign & Commonwealth Office, and recipient of the EI's 2016 Melchett Award, will give a lecture on the "Post Paris Energy Transition".

Sir David will explain how the Paris Climate Change agreement, designed to manage the risks of climate change, provides the greatest opportunity of our era for reconnecting the sequence: science, engineering, innovation, wealth creation. In doing so, he will highlight the opportunities for energy businesses to innovate and lead the transition.

The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception and opportunity to continue discussion with fellow energy professionals.
