EI Human and Organisational Factors Committee

EI Human and Organisational Factors Committee (Strategy and work programme)
EI's Safety Management Group established its Human and Organisational Factors Committee in 2001 as the UK petroleum industry focal point. It aims to help the petroleum and allied industries to understand and apply human factors to its operations by:

  • Engaging the industry and its stakeholders.
  • Supporting the industry by commissioning studies, providing information and sharing knowledge.

Their work complements that managed by the EI Health Technical Committee.

Whilst several kindred organisations are actively working in this area in the UK, Europe and globally, the EI Human and Organisational Factors Committee recognises that it offers a unique forum for all sectors of the industry and its stakeholders.
