About this course:

This online course highlights the role of renewable energy technologies and approaches on the route to a Net Zero carbon economy and buildings with Net Zero carbon operational energy impacts. It focuses on decarbonisation options for both the electricity and gas grids, and also examines in detail on-site renewable power generation, heating and cooling opportunities.

This course is self-paced and can be started at any time.

Qualification:

Successful completion of this course results in the EI Level 3 Certificate in Renewables.

This course also forms one of the modules of the EI's longer Level 3: Advanced Energy Manager course and qualification. If you would like to complete the full Level 3 qualification, please visit the full course page to book.

Assessment:

This course is assessed via a short online test.

Who should take this course:

This course is recommended for those with 2 or more years of experience in energy management. Although there are no official prerequisites, it is recommended that you have at least A-level maths or equivalent.
