The EI Ireland YPN branch and the Energy-Environment division of Engineers Ireland invite you to an evening lecture by Thomas Woolmington on Carbon neutral farming the issues and opportunities: Anaerobic digestion and ancillary technologies designed for the Irish farm.

Thomas Woolmington has been a lecturer and researcher within DIT for over 10 years. He has been actively involved in Industry throughout this period primarily in the Electrical Services and Energy Sectors. Growing up in an agricultural context has given him insight into how technologies can be redesigned and applied to the Irish farming context.

His research into the wind and the biogas sectors has won awards in the past such as the Dublin Region Innovation Consortium Inventor of the Month (Sept 2015) and best emerging technology from a 3rd level Institute at Enterprise Ireland's Innovation arena at the national ploughing championships in 2017.

Thomas would now like to take this opportunity to disseminate some of the technologies being developed to overcome the issues facing the Irish agricultural sector.
