With the advent of Brexit and continuing turbulence in the energy sector, the Energy Institute in partnership with Leeds Sustainability Institute, has assembled a panel of industry experts to provide their ideas and opinions on what might be next for the UK energy industry.

This will be followed by a panel discussion, providing the audience with a comprehensive industry view and the opportunity to ask questions. The event will be headlined by Louise Kingham OBE FEI, Chief Executive of the Energy Institute along with other leading figures in the energy sectors.

This event is a must for energy, carbon and engineering sector professionals looking for the chance to listen, engage and network with energy sector leaders, right here in Yorkshire!

Keynote speech – Louise Kingham. Louise is Chief Executive of the Energy Institute (EI) and has spent 25 years working with energy professionals around the world.

Panel speeches:

  • Robin Hale. Robin is Chief Executive of the Major Energy Users Council, where he supports large energy users by providing up to date information on energy markets and compliance.
  • Chris Gorse. Chris is a Professor of Construction and Project Management, Director of the Leeds Sustainability Institute and Head of the Centre of the Built Environment at Leeds Beckett University.
  • Julia Szajdzicka. Julia is the Managing Director of ND Metering Solutions which has designed and manufactured sub-metering since 1975.
