Presentation by: Adam Baddeley, Head of Industrial Hydrogen, Progressive Energy Ltd
Summary:
Adam will give an overview presentation on HyNet. He will discuss the different applications for hydrogen and then go into more detail on the industrial use of hydrogen.
About Adam:
Adam joined Progressive Energy in 2016 following nearly 20 years of consulting experience for Government and the private sector. He has worked on the HyNet project since its inception in 2016 and is currently Head of Industrial Hydrogen. Adam has recently led major fuel switching demonstrations with Pilkington, Essar and Unilever and is now working on similar programmes with five further global manufacturers. He has also negotiated over 30 commercial agreements with manufacturers in the North West towards using hydrogen from HyNet and runs the HyNet Hydrogen Users Group. In addition, Adam is responsible for green hydrogen development linked to the HyNet infrastructure.

"The difficult economic situation that we are going through must push loss-adjusting firms, based in Morocco, to open up more internationally. However, gaining the trust of the major players in the insurance industry, particularly in London, Paris or Munich, is not an easy task. "Before the course, I had a little professional experience in domestic zero-carbon energy technology but I was inexperienced in any other theory and practical topic, audits etc. This provided me with the building blocks to understand this, including the calculations, quickly. The course tutor, Chris was excellent in his teaching, knowledge and support. He made it easy to learn with his patient and insightful teaching style and very clear instructions.
