The YPN was launched with the aim of adding value to young professionals in the energy industry. YPN events will provide advice on careers and how to get chartered as well as provide a forum for sharing experiences and networking with other young professionals and more senior colleagues.

    Good news for offshore wind farm developers: southern areas are becoming windier. Researchers from Atmos Consulting have found that the wind speed off the coast of East Anglia and Essex has been rising so much that wind farms could generate 50% more electricity than envisaged a decade ago.
