Latest publications to be showcased at Offshore Europe 2017

The Energy Institute (EI) is on track to produce over 60 technical guidance documents in 2017, a record number, promoting good practice amongst the 23,000 energy professionals and the 250 companies the EI supports worldwide.

As part of Offshore Europe 2017, the EI will be showcasing six new guidance documents on asset integrity to support upstream oil and gas operations focusing on corrosion management, ageing plant and asset life extension.

Energy Institute Technical Director, Martin Maeso CEnv MEI, said:

“The Energy Institute continues to work closely with its members and the wider energy sector to develop technical guidance that provides industry with cost effective and value adding knowledge.”

“The scale and nature of our guidance output is an indication of demand in particular around mature asset management on the UKCS.”

“At Offshore Europe 2017 we will be exhibiting some of our significant technical guidance on the EI stand. I would encourage anyone who would like to know more about our member benefits or the latest EI publications to come and find us.”

The EI is a leading provider of technical publications covering health, safety, environment, fuel quality and distribution. These include good practice guidance, test methods, measurement manuals, conferences and workshops.

Discounts for two further EI events will be available at the EI’s stand - the Asset Integrity 2017 conference, to be held in Aberdeen on 5 October, and the biennial 2-day Human Factors 2017 conference, being held in London on 17-18 October.
