East Midlands
The East Midlands Community is an inclusive community of energy practitioners. We run high‑quality events and knowledge-sharing opportunities, providing a meaningful contribution to the region’s leadership in sustainable energy.
Why engage with the East Midlands Community?
Energy professionals have the skills and technological know-how to drive sustainable change in the UK and globally. By engaging with the community, you will:
- Share and develop innovative technologies and solutions through our lectures, site visits and other engagements.
- Keep up to date with industry trends.
- Build your professional development.
- Support young professionals and further education establishments.
Most of the events are held in and around Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Peterborough. All members, guests and colleagues are welcome to participate in local activities. We hope to see you at an event soon.
Our mission is to advance a better, cleaner and more resilient energy future across the Midlands region by empowering professionals, fostering collaboration and championing evidence‑based practice. Aligned with the Energy Institute’s global purpose of accelerating a just transition to net zero, we bring together diverse expertise from the East and West Midlands to support informed decision‑making, skills development and promote low‑carbon energy systems.
