Singapore

The Singapore Community plays an active and thought-provoking role in engaging its growing community of EI members, partner organisations and institutions across the region.  It provides a forum for the exchange of international good practice, supports continuous professional development (CPD), and fosters informed debate on the evolving energy landscape and the energy transition.

A core priority of Singapore Community is the development of a vibrant and inclusive Young Professionals Network (YPN), creating opportunities for emerging leaders to build skills, expand professional networks and engage directly with senior industry practitioners across disciplines.

The Community works closely with leading local institutions such as the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), alongside other professional bodies, business associations and academic institutions. These collaborations enable joint programming, cross-disciplinary dialogue and wider outreach, strengthening links between industry, academia and policy, and reinforcing Singapore’s role as a regional hub for energy expertise, innovation and professional excellence.

I warmly encourage all our members with an interest in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian region, as well as those considering joining our community, to get in touch and become actively involved in our programmes and activities. This is an exciting time for the energy sector in our region, and your participation, insights, and professional engagement are vital to shaping the conversations and collaborations that matter most.
