The Essex and East Anglia YPN would like to invite you to their following joint event with the University of East Anglia's Engineering society.

The 2008 Climate Change Act states that the UK must cut greenhouse gas emissions to 80% below 1990 levels by 2050. It is recognised in The European Union’s 2050 Low Carbon Economy vision that the power generation and distribution industry has the biggest potential to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions to almost 0% by this deadline.

Recently renewable capacity in the UK has been growing rapidly. But what more needs to be done to reduce greenhouse emissions for the sector, whilst still ensuring the security of supply?

Join us and our industry speakers as they bring together their knowledge and expertise for and interactive and informative panel discussion.
