Event synopsis

As the energy transition and data revolution both gather pace, how can we ensure that consumers benefit from technological advances in energy?

Drawing on findings from the 2019 Energy Barometer, the Energy Institute’s survey of UK energy professionals, attendees will hear how digitalisation and smart systems open up huge possibilities to make the grid more efficient and bills lower and the evolving relationship between every one of us and the energy we use.

How well are consumers being engaged to make the most of them and could the most vulnerable be left behind?

What are the regulatory challenges to ensure that all customers benefit from the energy transition and data revolution?
