About this course:
This online course provides an overview of the purpose of measurement and verification (M&V), the key features and considerations of the M&V process, relevant statistical techniques, and how to specify an effective M&V plan for an energy-saving project. The course will also review the key features of the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP).
This course is self-paced and can be started at any time.
Qualification:
Successful completion of this course results in the EI Level 2 Certificate in Measurement and Verification (M&V).
This course also forms one of the modules of the EI's longer Level 2: Energy Management Professional course and qualification. If you would like to complete the full Level 2 qualification, please visit the full course page to book.
Assessment:
This course is assessed via a short online test following the course.
Who should take this course:
This course is recommended for those with 1-2 years of experience in energy management. Although there are no official prerequisites, it is recommended that you have at least A-level maths or equivalent.
