About this course:
This online course provides an overview of steam and process heating in energy management. In this course, you will learn about the significance of process heating, the factors that influence the quality of steam, the different types of steam boilers and generators, the key components of a steam distribution system, and ways to reduce the costs of a steam and process heating system.
This course is self-paced and can be started at any time.
Qualification:
Successful completion of this course results in the EI Level 2 Certificate in Steam and process heating.
This course also forms one of the modules of the EI's longer Level 2: Energy Management Professional course and qualification. If you would like to complete the full Level 2 qualification, please visit the full course page to book.
Assessment:
This course is assessed via a short online test.
Who should take this course:
This course is recommended for those with 1-2 years of experience in energy management. Although there are no official prerequisites, it is recommended that you have at least A-level maths or equivalent.
