A 5-hour CPD training package aimed at ESOS Lead Assessors and also, both internal and external auditors undertaking ESOS audits and looking to gain CPD hours. It will refresh their memory and provide further knowledge of the Scheme so they are prepared for Phase 3.
Course overview:
The ESOS CPD training package consists of the following 5 online modules:
- Module 1: ESOS Legislation and Standards
- Module 2: ESOS Transport Audits
- Module 3: Understanding Commercial Heat Pumps
- Module 4: Implementing Commercial Heat Pumps
- Module 5: Managing Health & Safety for ESOS Assessors
A short multiple-choice quiz is included at the end of each module.
The training package has also been developed to support EI ESOS Lead Assessors in meeting the annual CPD requirements specified by the Environment Agency. As a requirement of their registration, Lead Assessors must complete 5 CPD hours specifically related to ESOS each year.

"Before the course, I had a little professional experience in domestic zero-carbon energy technology but I was inexperienced in any other theory and practical topic, audits etc. This provided me with the building blocks to understand this, including the calculations, quickly.
