A 5-hour online CPD training package designed to introduce the Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) legislation and cover the compliance and reporting requirements for quoted companies, unquoted companies and LLPs including a report checklist and a template.Course overview
The SECR CPD training package consists of the following online modules:
- Module 1: Introduction to SECR
- Module 2: Environmental Reporting Basics
- Module 3: Complying with SECR in Practice
- Module 4: SECR Mandatory Reporting
- Module 5: Optional Reporting
A short multiple-choice quiz is included at the end of each module.
This course aimed at a wide range of professionals such as Energy Managers, Environmental Managers, Compliance Managers, CSR Managers, Board Directors of large organisations, Accountants, ESOS Lead Assessors, ISO 50001 and 140001 teams, Facilities Managers, Estate Directors, Company Auditors and Utility Procurement Managers.

"The difficult economic situation that we are going through must push loss-adjusting firms, based in Morocco, to open up more internationally. However, gaining the trust of the major players in the insurance industry, particularly in London, Paris or Munich, is not an easy task. "Before the course, I had a little professional experience in domestic zero-carbon energy technology but I was inexperienced in any other theory and practical topic, audits etc. This provided me with the building blocks to understand this, including the calculations, quickly.
