To celebrate International Women's Day and Women's History Month, join us as we host a panel discussion on Gender Diversity in the Energy Industry.
Topics include:
- Challenges women face in the energy industry, such as a lack of representation in leadership roles and unconscious bias
- Strategies for increasing gender diversity, such as mentorship programs, diversity training, and recruitment efforts
- Examples of successful gender diversity initiatives in the energy industry, and how they can be replicated in other organisations
Overall, the event aims to create an open and informative dialogue about gender diversity in the energy industry and to encourage participants to take action towards creating a more inclusive workplace.
Four panellists will be joining our discussion including:
- Alexandra Lawson, Commercial Advisor at Shell
- Lauren Neal, Project Manager at bp
- Lucy Yu, CEO at Centre for Net Zero (part of the Octopus Energy Group)
- Siwan Smith, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Manager at Arup
