Join the EI YPN Central Scotland Committee for 2027!
We’re looking for enthusiastic people to join the Energy Institute Young Professionals Network – Central Scotland committee and help shape our activities for 2027.
We are recruiting for the following positions:
Vice-Chair - 1 position
Support the Chair, help shape strategy and coordinate the network.
Remit: Attend bi-weekly committee and monthly Global Council meetings, lead at least 2 events per year, attend the Spring Opener and Christmas Social, and support other events where possible.
Treasurer - 1 position
Oversee the network’s finances and support successful delivery of events.
Remit: Manage expenditure, reimbursements, annual accounts and forecasting, attend bi-weekly meetings, the Spring Opener and Christmas Social, and support events where possible.
Sponsorship & Corporate Engagement Officer - 1 position
Build industry relationships and develop sponsorship opportunities.
Remit: Lead communications with prospective sponsors and corporate contacts, attend key partner/sponsor events, lead at least 1 event per year and attend bi-weekly committee meetings.
Student Engagement Officers - 2 positions
Connect with students, promote opportunities and encourage participation.
Remit: Attend student-facing events, lead at least 1 event per year, attend bi-weekly committee meetings and support wider network activities.
Event Officer - 1 position
Plan and deliver networking events, technical talks, site visits and professional development activities.
Remit: Lead at least 2 events per year, support other committee members with their events, attend bi-weekly meetings and support wider activities.
