This Energy Policy Debate will be exploring the roles of Ofgem, the CCC, and National Infrastructure Committee, looking at where key decision makers will bring their leadership and global insights to abstract their views on how the UK tackles the energy trilemma.
With decarbonisation at the forefront of the UK’s energy transition, this debate will deep dive into the current position of what is needed to change to reach the UK’s carbon targets. Policy implementation, strategies for decarbonising the largest contributors, and where investments and awareness are needed for energy infrastructure to support net zero by 2050 will be discussed.

"The difficult economic situation that we are going through must push loss-adjusting firms, based in Morocco, to open up more internationally. However, gaining the trust of the major players in the insurance industry, particularly in London, Paris or Munich, is not an easy task. "Before the course, I had a little professional experience in domestic zero-carbon energy technology but I was inexperienced in any other theory and practical topic, audits etc. This provided me with the building blocks to understand this, including the calculations, quickly.
