DOF Subsea is an integrated marine engineering and subsea vessel operator. Founded in 1981 DOF can call on 40 years of specialized vessel experience coupled with marine engineering and project management.

Hywind Tampen is an 88 MW floating wind power project which will provide electricity for the Snorre and Gullfaks offshore field operations in the Norwegian North Sea. It will be the world’s first floating wind farm to power offshore oil and gas platforms.

It will also be the world’s largest floating offshore wind farm and an essential step in industrialising solutions and reducing costs for future offshore wind power projects.

DOF Subsea and its JV partner Kvaerner (Now Aker Solutions) were awarded a contract to engineer, procure, construct, and install the 11, 8MW floating turbine foundations. DOF Subsea will tow and install all 11 units and manage all marine activities both at the quayside and offshore. DOF Subsea will utilize some of the world's most powerful seagoing tugs and DP2 construction vessels on this project.
