Brazilian Energy Voices on COP30: Perspectives across generations (Hosted by Student Energy)
Our partners at Student Energy are hosting a special free webinar with the EI and our Generation 2050 young professionals to discuss the upcoming COP30.
You’ll hear from Guilherme Castro AMEI, a Young Professional member of the EI, and Ieda Gomes FEI, a distinguished industry leader. Coming from different generations and bringing unique experiences, expertise, and perspectives, they will open a dynamic dialogue on the future of global climate negotiations.
Together, they will reflect on the outcomes of COP29 and explore the key themes shaping COP30 — highlighting both the challenges and opportunities in accelerating the energy transition. With both speakers hailing from Brazil, they’ll also share valuable outlooks on what this year’s conference means for their home country, the host of COP30.
Generation 2050 is an initiative created by young professional members of the EI to spark conversation between early-career and experienced energy professionals, ensuring perspectives from across generations inform the path forward.
This event is primarily aimed at students, but we warmly welcome young professionals and leaders from across the energy landscape to join the discussion.
Join this dialogue shaping the energy and climate agenda, share your expectations, and connect across generations.
