We would like to invite you to the launch of the 5th edition of EI’s Model Code of Safe Practice Part 15: Area classification for installations handling flammable fluids (EI 15). This will be a half-day, in-person event, held at the EI Offices in London. The event will be a great opportunity to learn about the key technical changes between the 4th and 5th editions of EI 15, and to connect with regulators, academics, and other stakeholders involved in hazardous area classification and process safety. Please note that another launch event will be held on 1st October in Warrington, Chesire, as an alternative option for those unable to attend the London event or based closer to Warrington. "The difficult economic situation that we are going through must push loss-adjusting firms, based in Morocco, to open up more internationally. However, gaining the trust of the major players in the insurance industry, particularly in London, Paris or Munich, is not an easy task. Admittedly, the requirements are not the same, given the size of the Moroccan market, but we can try to get as close as possible to them by obtaining certificates recognised abroad. "Before the course, I had a little professional experience in domestic zero-carbon energy technology but I was inexperienced in any other theory and practical topic, audits etc. This provided me with the building blocks to understand this, including the calculations, quickly.
