Fired boilers continue to play an important and significant role in the UK's generating fleet, alongside newer CCGT and renewable sources. While some older coal fired plants have been decommissioned, others continue to contribute to production capacity after being converted for alternative fuel types.

Continuing the series of popular user groups, the Boiler User Group 2019 will provide a key forum for asset owners, maintenance professionals and service providers to address the current and future role of power boilers in Britain's energy mix. Through recent case study projects and panel discussions, this specialised community of power boiler engineers will share the latest insights and strategies for increased efficiency, greater operational flexibility, successful upgrade projects and reduced costs.

New for 2019: Engineers will discuss the increasing role of different fuel types and renewables for producing sites, including conversion for biomass, energy from waste and other sustainable alternatives.

Early Bird ends 16 August 2019 - book your place today

The event format will encourage open debate; using informal presentations and discussion to facilitate networking and sharing of experience among the boiler community.
