Welcome to the Ireland branch page

Get involved with your local branch of the Energy Institute today. Branch events are organised for your benefit by volunteer members. Engaging with your local branch supports your continuing professional development by keeping up to date on the latest developments, as well as helping to expand your network of contacts.

The Branch organises technical meetings, often in cooperation with kindred organisations. A particular highlight of the year is the Annual Dinner when the Minister for Energy usually delivers an important policy speech.

The branch has also created the Ireland 2050 calculator online tool, designed to help understand how energy works and what choices are required in order to provide a secure, stable and sustainable energy system. Ireland 2050 is part of a wider Energy Institute programme to promote understanding of our energy system.
