Event Description:

In 2020 many organisations had to quickly adapt to the COVID-19 outbreak. The huge health, economic and psychological costs of the pandemic and this transition is still to be fully accounted for.

Key to avoiding similar costs associated with climate change is preparedness, which can be achieved by integrating sustainability into our daily lives and operations. While energy is vital to people, organisations and economies to drive productivity and growth it also is a part of the climate change problem.

To ensure that energy is used and sourced in the most effective and efficient ways, sustainable energy policies should be incorporated into COVID-19 recovery packages, annual work plans and our day-to-day activities as individuals.

From improving energy efficiency at home to upgrading plant equipment and aligning national policies to the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, this webinar will discuss how each of us can prepare and make a difference to the sustainability of our energy system.

Rami Osman
