In this 4 half-day training course, you will gain the fundamental knowledge and understanding to develop an efficient and effective maintenance plan through the use of different maintenance strategies in this comprehensive and practical training course with a focused examples and exercises.

Topics include reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance, planning and scheduling, and spare parts management, risk management and root cause analysis (RCA) along with the latest approaches and tools available to improve safety, reliability and ultimately profit.

Matthew Laskaj is an engineer and specialist engineering trainer. He is passionate about the engineering industry and developing skills. Having worked in offshore Oil and Gas, refineries, energy, manufacturing and process industries around the world, he considers himself lucky to be able to share his experience with others while learning at the same time from those he meets along the way.

He is the Director of Project Engineering Management Ltd, an engineering consultancy offering maintenance training, project management and engineering consultancy.

Learning Objectives: 

1. Recognise asset reliability definitions, measures and steps required to address reliability issues in the renewables and oil and gas sectors
2. Understand the different maintenance strategies, approaches, tools and techniques available
3.  Incorporate root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement (CI) into maintenance plans and maintenance performance
4. Establish asset importance and priorities using criticality assessment approaches
5. Manage maintenance planning, scheduling and spare parts to undertake the required tasks
6. Utilise and pro-active maintenance processes and techniques to optimise the maintenance strategy
