Summary:

Jonny will cover Electricity North West’s drive to leading the North West to Net Zero.

Joe will cover the challenges associated with low carbon technology facilitation to include electric vehicle charging, heat pumps, solar PV. The presentation will also cover current innovation projects being considered.

About Joe:

Joe joined the new connections team in Electricity North West Limited in Jan 2002, throughout this time he has developed himself to assist customers with their industrial new connections / parallel operation of equipment with the distribution network.  He continues to support customers with all aspects of the new connections journey, including generation, constrained connections, fault level studies, protection studies, earthing assessments, harmonic assessments, project management and final commissioning works.

About Jonny:

Jonny leads Electricity North West’s work to help businesses play their part in the region’s rapid transition to net zero. He works across ENWL and with external partners to ensure businesses have access to the support they need to adopt energy efficiency, electric vehicles, solar panels, batteries, heat pumps, and other low carbon technologies.

Jonny was previously Deputy Director at Manchester Climate Change Agency and Environmental Strategy Manager at Manchester City Council.
