About this course:
This online course provides an introduction to building management systems (BMS). In this course, you will gain an understanding of the role and typical components of a BMS, the fundamentals of control theory, data gathering systems, and how a BMS can be used to optimise building performance. You can also carry out a feasibility study into which type of BMS to install in your organisation.
This course is self-paced and can be started at any time.
Qualification:
Successful completion of this course results in the EI Level 2 Certificate in Building Management Systems (BMS).
This course also forms one of the modules of the EI's longer Level 2: Energy Management Professional course and qualification. If you would like to complete the full Level 2 qualification, please visit the full course page to book.
Assessment:
This course is assessed via a short online test following the course.
Who should take this course:
This course is recommended for those with 1-2 years' experience in energy management. Although there are no official prerequisites, it is recommended that you have at least A level maths or equivalent.
