The world is presently gripped by an energy shock, not seen since the 1970s, caused by a combination of the speed at which the world recovered from COVID and major political events. The government's primary focus is now on energy security and how best to cushion their populations from the unprecedented upsurge in cost, whilst maintaining an eye on combating climate change.

WPC UK brings together industry experts from different fields to explain what has occurred, what is likely to occur in the future and what impact this will have on the world’s desire to move away from the use of hydrocarbons as the primary source of energy production.

Taking this into consideration raises the question “Will Energy Security Threaten the Energy Transition?”.

Bookings will close at 5 pm BST on 18 October.
