Graduating in 1999 with an MSc in Environmental Management, Alan has been an Energy Manager since 2006. Holding Charters in Energy Management, Fleet Management, Environment and Waste, Alan was trained by the Energy Institute to its highest European Energy Manager level in 2010; and awarded Energy Institute Fellowship (FEI) in 2018.
Alan has personally completed compliant ESOS Building, Process and Transport audits for more than 160 companies specialising in manufacturing, construction, logistics and haulage. He also trains in energy efficiency and lectures on Environment, sustainability and climate change to MSc students at Middlesex University.
Alan achieved CMVP® status with the UKAEE in July 2014. This allows for demonstrable guaranteed savings as required using IPMVP global industry software.
An ESOS (EED) Lead Assessor since October 2014, Alan is registered, qualified and experienced in delivering mandatory four yearly EED energy and fleet assessments for large companies in the UK, Denmark, Ireland, and Sweden.

John is a Technical Director with ITPEnergised and has over 30 years experience both as a practicing engineer and latterly as an energy consultant. His career background is as an engineer officer employed with BP aboard oil tankers and the first generation of LNG carriers. This initial career development means that John is able to understand and appreciate operation of plant and equipment such as boilers, steam turbines, pumps and compressors.
