Aviation fuel hydrant systems at airports are the penultimate step in the delivery chain of aviation fuel into aircraft. It is therefore imperative to ensure that the quality and cleanliness of the jet fuel in the hydrant is maintained at all times.

This publication has been developed to assist in the optimisation of hydrant system operations. It provides recommended practices for operational checks, inspections and maintenance procedures to ensure aviation fuel quality assurance and cleanliness standards are met.
