Installation, and major component exchange during operations and maintenance. These guidelines:

• Aim to promote a common understanding of the concept and principles of good practice.
• Describe the fundamental risk elements and good practice risk controls.
• Identify key attributes of good practice in mobile crane Lift Planning and risk assessment.
• Provide practical checklists to support good practice Lift Planning.

However, the good practice examples of hazard elimination and risk control provided in the guidance do not cover every conceivable situation and may not be relevant to all wind farm sites.
