This document aims to provide a process that, if followed, should allow the Duty Holder to develop site-specific plans and procedures to mitigate the consequence of incidents and help protect casualties until they can be delivered to an ultimate place of safety.

This document adopts a risk-based approach to managing emergency situations. It is the responsibility of the Duty Holder to proportionally assess the risks associated with their specific wind farm and, by doing so, control and mitigate them.
