Its primary aim is to present best practices for UAV inspection of high-hazard assets.

The guidance describes the key stages of UAV (drone) inspection that are common to most high-hazard asset inspections. It covers the range of UAV equipment available, considerations for managing and evaluating UAV inspections, and the actions required to minimise human failure while maximising inspection performance. In particular, it highlights the importance of understanding and assessing human interactions with inspection equipment.
