TWP - decommissioning cover These proceedings provide a non-verbatim summary of the presentations and discussions from two EI technical workshops on process safety within decommissioning projects across the energy industry.

These proceedings should help guide companies to better integrate process safety in decommissioning projects through the knowledge and experience shared by workshop participants.

Representatives from conventional power generation, petroleum refining and bulk storage sectors attended the onshore workshop and the offshore workshop had representatives from the upstream oil and gas production sector. Stakeholder representatives (e.g. drawn from consultancies, government departments, regulators, etc.) were also present.
