Chartered Energy Manager

Chartered Energy Managers are experienced professionals who manage energy in an organisation and make sure that it is used efficiently. They provide advice on developing and implementing energy efficient policies. They are not only energy experts, with wide ranging knowledge of complex issues; they are proficient communicators and change managers, helping others understand the potential of energy efficient practice, and influencing organisation policy.

Chartered Energy Manager is a title unique to the EI – it is not available from any other institution.

Why apply?

While there are lots of energy management certifications at various levels, the EI’s Chartered Energy Manager is the only title which certifies your professionalism, high level knowledge and expertise and proven track record through the award of chartered status.

As a Chartered Energy Manager, you will gain a professional title that sets you apart in the sector, enhances your employability and demonstrates your professionalism and commitment to the responsible and efficient management of energy.

Fees

There is an application fee of £85, plus an initial registration fee if you are awarded Chartered Energy Manager. Once you are registered, you will also need to pay an annual registration fee. See our fees page for more information.
