The EI has a range of available tools and resources to support you in your volunteering projects. They cut across marketing, event planning and hosting tools.

Event management

Zoom:

The EI has a centralized Zoom account and volunteers are welcome to use it for hosting webinars and conference calls. You can reach out to the communications team, [email protected], when you need it.

Communication/ Marketing tools

Mailchimp:

MailChimp is our choice platform for sending bulk communications like event invitations and newsletters. The guidance on how to create an email campaign on Mailchimp using the templates we provide can be found in SharePoint. To ensure we are complying with data protection laws, all marketing emails are centrally approved and sent by the communications team in the head office.

Once you have prepared your campaign, please email [email protected]. You are encouraged to reach out to the communications team at least 2-3 weeks ahead of your event to have your event approved and scheduled on Mailchimp for broadcast.

Website:

Information and events can also be publicized via the EI website. The communications team also handles this. To promote your event on our website, kindly forward all event information to [email protected], and we will create the event listing and enable online booking.

Document hosting

SharePoint:

Documents you may need to facilitate daily activities as a volunteer in the EI are saved and can be accessed on SharePoint. Local and YPN committee members can request access to this from the communications team by sending an email to [email protected].
