EI Standard 1566 Injection of biocide into jet fuel during underwing pressure refuelling for aircraft maintenance

Overview:

This publication has been prepared at the request of engine and airframe manufacturers to standardise the application systems used to inject and homogenously blend biocide into jet fuel during underwing pressure refuelling for aircraft maintenance.

This publication provides manufacturers, purchasers and users of jet fuel biocide injection equipment with a specification for the design, construction and performance of the equipment, as well as requirements for first article testing for each specific equipment model and procedures for its commissioning, operation, inspection and maintenance.

The information contained in this publication will be of significant interest to aircraft engine and airframe manufacturers, aircraft operators, into-plane fuelling companies, aircraft maintenance organisations, biocide injection equipment manufacturers and jet fuel biocide manufacturers/suppliers. This publication is intended for use worldwide.
