The purpose of this guideline is to present a proposed approach to repurposing of onshore and offshore pipeline assets for use as carbon dioxide pipelines. The document outlines the required data and assessments needed to demonstrate that a pipeline and associated assets are fit for repurposing to Carbon Dioxide service. The guideline focuses on repurposing of onshore and offshore pipelines but also considers new pipeline design where relevant.
