The Energy Institute’s (EI) Technical workshop proceedings – Groundwater protection policy at multi-fuel stations, brought together participants from industry, regulators, consultants, trade bodies, and local authorities across the UK. Organised by the EI’s Soil, Waste and Groundwater (SWG) group, the workshop focused on groundwater protection within the evolving energy landscape, including low-carbon fuels, electric vehicle (EV) charging, and hydrogen. It built on the 2018 joint industry-regulator workshop, reflecting developments in regulation, technology, and sustainability.
