Overview:

This report provides an overview of the four currently identified methodologies for determining calibration intervals:

− Calendar-based
− Condition-based
− Performance-based
− Risk-based

For each method, the procedure for implementing the methodology is described, the advantages and drawbacks are listed and a step-by-step worked example is provided for a single meter type. This provides a starting point for meter owners to identify which methodology is likely to be most appropriate for a given installation.
