About this course:
This online course will increase your knowledge of energy invoices and help you understand how the data provided can be used to form the basis of your energy management work. It provides an overview of the concept of monitoring and targeting and its importance in energy management. It also explains the key features of energy meters including smart meters, portable solutions and sub-metering systems. An overview of UK energy markets is provided.
This course is self-paced and can be started at any time.

This course is suitable for professionals of all levels of experience. No prior knowledge of energy management is required.
This course will be beneficial for those looking to develop their career in a variety of fields such as energy management, environmental/sustainability management, CSR, finance/procurement and estates/facilities management.

Completion of this course results in the EI Level 1: Certificate in Metering and buying

"Before the course, I had a little professional experience in domestic zero-carbon energy technology but I was inexperienced in any other theory and practical topic, audits etc. This provided me with the building blocks to understand this, including the calculations, quickly.
