The Pipeline and Riser Loss of Containment (PARLOC) report is the preferred source of risk assessment data for generic loss of containment frequencies and covers pipelines and risers in the offshore oil and gas industry. This revision of PARLOC (PARLOC 2020) updates the previous report known as PARLOC 2012. The results presented in this report are based on data gathered for loss of containment incidents that occurred at pipelines and risers on the UK continental shelf (UKCS) during the period 2001 – 2020.
